EU: Arugga Shipping First Plant Lowering Robots in Europe

Arugga AI Farming is launching the first plant-lowering robot for tomato and cucumber plants in greenhouses. Nicknamed ‘Louie’ by its R&D team, the autonomous plant-lowering robot optimizes one of greenhouse farming’s most labor-intensive tasks.

Known for commercializing pollination robots, the Israel-based company has signed agreements to deliver its first fleet of commercial plant-lowering robots to selected growers in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Iddo Geltner, Arugga AI Farming CEO: “It is a big achievement after a couple of years of hard work by our R&D team. We are pleased to start working with leading European growers including Lans and Harvest House”.
