Collins is a graduate research assistant at South Dakota State University. He has a keen interest in plant disease management, plant disease diagnosis, plant epidemiological studies, plant molecular studies, fungal pathology, host-pathogen interaction, sustainable agriculture and general plant sciences. He also has a strong interest on how the plant pathology and precision agriculture industries can work together.
