Solix Experience Debuts in Field, Giving Growers Firsthand Access to Autonomous Farming System

For the first time, growers didn’t have to imagine what autonomous farming might look like. They walked into it.

Solinftec has officially launched the Solix Experience, the industry’s first mobile, on-farm autonomous farming experience, following its debut alongside the Southeastern Specialty Crop Technology Conference in Tifton, GA — where growers and media experienced a fully operational, intelligent field robot working in real time.

Throughout the experience, autonomous robots continuously moved through the crop, scouting, analyzing, and performing targeted actions, demonstrating a new model of farming built not on isolated machines, but on distributed intelligence.

For many attendees, the shift was immediate.

Instead of watching a demonstration, they moved through a working environment — seeing how decisions are made, how work is executed, and how the role of the farmer changes when intelligence is always present in the field.

“What stood out wasn’t just the technology — it was how natural it felt once you saw it working,” said Leo Carvalho, Chief Global Strategy Officer at Solinftec.

“Growers quickly move past asking ‘does it work?’ to asking ‘when can I take them home?’ That’s when you know you’re not introducing an idea—you’re revealing a new way of operating.”

The Solix family, which powers the experience, integrates autonomous robotics with continuous, in-field intelligence capable of performing multiple functions, including crop scouting, targeted applications, and real-time decision-making.

But the impact of the Solix Experience extended beyond the technology itself.

It made a shift tangible:

  • From operating → to overseeing
  • From reacting → to anticipating
  • From managing acres → to managing outcomes

And ultimately:

  • From productivity alone → to Freedom Per Acre

As labor shortages, rising input costs, and increasing operational complexity continue to challenge agriculture, growers are looking for solutions that go beyond incremental improvements.

The Solix Experience offers something different: a direct, immersive understanding of how autonomy can fundamentally transform farm operations.

Following its debut, interest in the Solix Experience has accelerated, with additional on-farm activations and private demonstrations being scheduled across key growing regions.
