Raven Industries Acquires Majority Share of DOT Technologies
Making good on its pledge to focus on the development of autonomous solutions for agriculture, Sioux Falls, SD-based Raven Industries announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire majority ownership of DOT Technology Corp. (DOT™), manufacturer of autonomous agriculture solutions based in Regina, SK, Canada. Raven and DOT had been working together on since May, 2018, when DOT announced plans to equip its autonomous systems with Raven technology.
The investment will align under Raven’s Applied Technology division in support of its recently announced strategic growth platform, Raven Autonomy.
