India: Conference on Digital Agriculture Set for March

The growing intervention of technology is fostering many sectors of the economy and the field of agriculture is not untouched from it, writes Nikita Arya at Krishi Jagran. The conventional farming methods are being complemented with the new technologies to increase the yield. In this line, creating awareness about digital agriculture is essential.

Confederation of Indian Industry is organizing a Conference on Digital Agriculture 2020 with an aim to generate awareness about the potential of digital agriculture. The digital agriculture is going to change the way seed and agrochemical companies in India place their products for marketing and the approach for other elements like planning, shipping, and understanding of the needs of the customers will also see a major change.
